David has a strong desire to help people and systems reach their potential. One of his college professors once said, “He’s very good at seeing the relevance of the seemingly irrelevant.” David combines this skill with an attention to detail and the ability to reduce complexity by converting overwhelming challenges into manageable tasks.

David has a demonstrated history of management in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries; and is skilled in Cross-functional Team Leadership, Innovation, Coaching, Continuous Improvement, Human Resource Management and Supply Chain Planning.

His Human Resource Management experience includes staffing, internal placement, outplacement, wage & salary administration, unemployment compensation, workers compensation, employee relations, job skills training, equal employment opportunity and affirmative action.

David is a Life Protection Coach with multiple black belts in Shotokan Karate and Taiho Jutsu. Trained under Shojiro Sugiyama and Hidetaka Nishiyama of the Japan Karate Association and Charles L. Plaines, Sr., a product of the Strategic Air Command’s Combative Measures Instructor Training Program, David’s martial arts experience also includes Aikido, Kali, Tae Kwon Do, Tai Chi Chuan and Tai Mantis Kung Fu.

David holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with concentrations in Public/Non-profit Management and Human Resource Management, and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Economics, Rhetoric and Law. He is APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) and an APICS Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP). David is also a Certified Fitness Trainer (ISSA) and is certified as a defensive tactics instructor with the US Taiho Jutsu Academy.
